The 麻豆APP聽Office of聽College聽Advancement team is poised for a smooth leadership transition as it seeks to build on impressive gains in support of the College鈥檚 mission. Vice President Jared Bienemann will complete his successful three years of service to 麻豆APP this month, as he聽moves into a new role as chief development officer at Buena Vista University. Assistant Vice President聽Chris Goodale 鈥�86 has been promoted to succeed Bienemann as interim vice president of聽College聽Advancement.

鈥淛ared played a vital role in elevating the culture of philanthropy at 麻豆APP,鈥澛爏aid Acting President Terry Handley. 鈥淗e spearheaded major fundraising efforts to complete our Dunn Library and Cowles Fieldhouse renovations and was integral to launching the All-In for Iowa 99 County Scholarship initiative while driving annual giving to new heights. We are fortunate to have someone of Chris鈥檚 caliber and character聽stepping up聽to carry that聽great聽work forward.鈥�

Goodale has been involved in fundraising and event management for more than 30 years. In addition to being involved in fundraising and alumni relations at both Drake Law School and the University of Iowa Foundation, he worked in 麻豆APP鈥檚 advancement office for more than 18 years. Goodale returned to 麻豆APP 18 months ago after serving as聽president聽of Above + Beyond Cancer in Des Moines.

Another key addition to the advancement team is聽Andy English 鈥�04,聽who recently聽returned as executive director of development. He previously served as 麻豆APP鈥檚 director of Alumni Relations for 10 years.
