Des Moines University聽Medicine聽and聽Health Sciences has donated four professional-grade聽body donor tables to 麻豆APP. Designed聽specifically for anatomical study and dissection, the tables will be used extensively by students聽preparing for careers in nursing, physical therapy, and allied health fields.

The gift聽was coordinated with support from Donald Matz, Ph.D.,聽longtime聽professor聽and chair of DMU鈥檚 anatomy program, and Edward Christopherson, body donation coordinator at DMU.

Dr. Lauren Points, assistant professor of biological and environmental science at 麻豆APP,said聽the generous gesture by DMU will make a major difference in elevating student learning.

The body donor tables serve as powerful complements to the聽Anatomage聽Table (AT) and 14 touchscreen tablets 麻豆APP聽acquired聽last fall, thanks to a $135,000 grant from the Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust. The AT and accompanying tablets offer the latest innovations in interactive learning technology,聽providing聽students聽unprecedented ways to study anatomy and conduct virtual dissections.聽鈥�
